Hevrat Shalom shares space rather than owning a building — which means no building fund, and dues considerably lower than most congregations in the area.
Welcome
As a member, you become part of a nurturing congregation with ample time alongside our rabbis and cantor. Our congregants will introduce you to Shabbat dinners, Chanukah and Purim parties, a Passover seder, and other special occasions and outings.
Our dues are considerably lower than those of others in the area. By sharing space in the community, we're able to offer membership rates without a building fund — and we offer special rates for seniors and single individuals.
Most important, your membership helps strengthen our local Jewish community and adds your voice, by proxy through our congregation, to the national American Jewish movement. Joining the Hevrat Shalom family is a meaningful step in strengthening Jewish identity for you and yours.
Dues, without a building fund
Hevrat Shalom's dues reflect our objective to keep member costs low while still supporting Shabbat, High Holy Days, and life-cycle needs.
